Principal/Senior Mobile Engineer, Trading Strategies, CEX (Fintech)

Principal Mobile Engineer (Fintech): Developing and optimizing OKX's Trading Bot and Copy Trading experiences across iOS and Android with an accent on high-complexity mobile surfaces and a shared Rust/UniFFI core. Focus on migrating performance-critical paths to Rust, improving architecture stability, and integrating AI-driven bot experiences.

What you will do

• Own the technical architecture and delivery of the Android/iOS Trading Bot codebase and Copy Trading surfaces.
• Lead large-scale initiatives, including Kotlin/Swift-to-Rust/UniFFI migration and modularization.
• Partner with product and business teams to drive the Trading Bot roadmap and AI-powered experiences.
• Optimize platform performance by reducing crashes, ANRs, and startup hotspots.
• Mentor engineers and elevate the team's technical proficiency through design guidance and knowledge-sharing.
• Explore and implement the integration of AI into business scenarios to drive product innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production Android/iOS apps.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and multi-module architecture, including binary-compatibility constraints.
• Proven track record of leading mid-to-large scale technical projects end-to-end.
• Professional background in trading or fintech (crypto exchange, brokerage, or fintech apps).
• Must have current right to work in Singapore and not require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust, UniFFI/FFI, or owning shared cross-platform cores.
• Deep domain knowledge in automated trading (Grid, DCA, perpetuals, derivatives, or arbitrage).
• AI engineering experience, including LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, or RAG.
• Experience with scaled CI/CD, large monorepos, or multi-module release systems.
• Previous experience leading client-side teams and driving cross-team collaboration.
