TL;DR

Senior Security Engineer (Pentester): Conducting penetration testing of web applications, APIs, and infrastructure to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities with an accent on manual security assessments and advanced exploitation. Focus on collaborating with engineering teams to implement secure development practices and researching new attack techniques.

Location: Onsite in Limassol, Cyprus (Full relocation support provided)

What you will do

• Perform penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and infrastructure to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Execute manual security assessments and conduct advanced exploitation of discovered flaws.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to enhance the security of applications and infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed technical penetration testing reports with clear remediation recommendations.
• Research emerging attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and security trends.
• Develop and improve internal security testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Experience in web application penetration testing and API/network security.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and web infrastructure.
• Proficiency with pentesting tools such as Burp, Nmap, Metasploit, sqlmap, and ffuf.
• Familiarity with OWASP and PTES security testing methodologies.
• Professional English proficiency (C1).
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus.

Nice to have

• Experience in bug bounty programs or red teaming exercises.
• Ability to automate security testing using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with container security testing.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, eWPT/eWPTX, PNPT, CREST, CEH, or GWAPT.
