Network Engineer (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design and implement LAN and WAN solutions using multiple platforms and protocols, including IP and VOIP.
• Manage the full solution lifecycle, from project planning and cost analysis to implementation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate hardware and software installations with vendors.
• Build proof-of-concept solutions utilizing emerging networking system technologies.
• Review project requirements and communicate them accurately to the team to ensure full delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Athens, Greece (Hybrid setup).
• 4+ years of experience in network support, configuration, and implementation.
• 4+ years of experience with core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls.
• Experience in networking and security architecture across local, regional, and global domains.
• Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and deadlines with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center environments.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Network (SDN) and large complex networks.
• Proficiency with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MP-FBP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC.
• Experience with Fortinet Firewall and Fortinet SASE.
