What you will do

• Lead reliability definition work by analyzing large telemetry datasets to define healthy, degraded, and failing device states.
• Test and verify field behavior through Databricks analysis in collaboration with firmware and hardware engineers.
• Monitor fleet health trends and investigate unexpected device behavior in the field to provide actionable recommendations.
• Support device-related incident response by identifying patterns and establishing root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Surface and resolve definition conflicts between firmware, data, and product teams.
• Feed field reality and reliability findings into product teams to shape roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience in the IoT industry, ideally in mobile IoT, industrial, or construction environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong SQL skills are required.
• Familiarity with the embedded and firmware layer and how device states translate into data.
• Ability to communicate with data and manage the intersection between technical, product, and business requirements.
