What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the crisis and emergency management system at E.ON SE.
• Coordinate the activation and operation of the crisis management team, including decision-making and escalation processes.
• Provide decision support during major disruptions, extreme weather, sabotage, or hybrid threats via structured analysis.
• Manage interfaces with external stakeholders, including authorities, police, and fire brigades.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate crisis exercises and trainings to ensure continuous improvement.
• Monitor and present the current threat situation for the group using OSINT-based reporting.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in corporate crisis management within complex operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of crisis management frameworks (ISO 22361, ISO 22301) and relevant regulations.
• Experience working with alerting systems and crisis management tools.
• Basic knowledge of IT/OT systems in critical infrastructure environments.
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Germany (Essen or Hannover) for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Relevant crisis management certification.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B).
