What you will do

• Lead mechanical engineering design for infrastructure projects throughout concept, preliminary, detailed design, and tender stages.
• Review and approve design calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical reports.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with civil, structural, electrical, architectural, and utilities teams.
• Design mechanical systems including pumping stations, water transmission networks, district cooling, and HVAC for infrastructure.
• Lead project teams, allocate engineering resources, and monitor budgets and schedules.
• Liaise with clients and government authorities, including Ashghal and Kahramaa.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 12–15 years of mechanical design experience.
• At least 5 years in a Lead Mechanical Engineer role.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering consultancy, specifically delivering projects in Qatar or the GCC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and hydraulic software (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, HAMMER).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Qatar.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng), PE, or equivalent professional registration.
• Experience with Plant 3D software.
