TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the office in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Design and develop robust backend solutions for internal users and external shipping partners.
- Collaborate with product managers and business teams to execute the product roadmap.
- Analyze partner system limitations and design scalable integration solutions.
- Enhance existing features and manage dependencies across organizational teams.
- Debug and migrate legacy systems to ensure long-term sustainability.
Requirements
- Japanese: C1 proficiency required
- English: B2 proficiency preferred
- 4+ years of experience in large-scale backend system development.
- Strong experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and data model design.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and version control (Git/GitHub).
- Experience with software testing (unit, functional, and end-to-end).
Nice to have
- Experience designing and operating APIs in Go.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience in on-call support and third-party integrations.
