TL;DR

Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Finance): Managing theatrical distribution collections and processing payments for assigned customer circuits with an accent on reconciliation, cash application, and account follow-up. Focus on maintaining strong relationships with customer accounts payable departments and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the North America Theatrical Distribution team.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Universal City, California (Hybrid: 4 days/week in office)

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Manage assigned customer account base and maintain primary relationships with customer accounts payable departments.
  • Ensure accurate posting of cash, deductions, and credits based on remittance information.
  • Perform follow-up on past due items and provide accurate statements to ensure timely payment.
  • Provide Sales Teams and Management with timely status updates, goal setting, and feedback.
  • Reconcile and review credits and balances on the trial balance to validate billing accuracy.
  • Research and retrieve missing box office reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
  • Proven strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to cultivate strong internal and external relationships.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
