What you will do

• Provide thought leadership on security technologies to shape future secure offerings.
• Collaborate with engineering and business development teams to embed security from the outset.
• Conduct threat and risk assessments for cloud, hybrid, and on-premise architectures.
• Select and apply proportionate security controls from baseline sets.
• Produce and present essential security documentation including Security Management Plans and SyOPs.
• Support sales and business development teams with security deliverables and scheduling.

Requirements

• Must hold or be capable of achieving and maintaining SC (Security Clearance).
• Sole UK Nationality required.
• Minimum 5 years of UK working history.
• Proven track record in security and information risk management.
• Demonstrable understanding of cloud, hybrid, and distributed security architectures.
• Strong knowledge of network security including WAN, LAN, and WLAN.

Nice to have

• Experience in major public sectors such as Defence (MoD) or HM Government.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes containerisation, cryptographic solutions, and boundary protection.
• Familiarity with Defence Standards such as DEFCON 658 and DEFSTAN 05-138.
