What you will do

• Design and own a scalable, well-documented semantic layer serving as the source of truth for business metrics.
• Hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of analytics engineers.
• Establish data engineering best practices, modeling standards, and data quality controls.
• Partner with Finance leadership to translate business requirements into a robust modeling roadmap.
• Evolve the dbt and Snowflake transformation layer, including testing frameworks and CI/CD workflows.
• Champion data governance, lineage, and trust across the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data, with 3+ years in analytics engineering.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Deep expertise with dbt and Snowflake, including modeling patterns and query optimization.
• Experience partnering with Finance, FP&A, or business operations teams.
• Fluency with Tableau or comparable BI tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SaaS business models and metrics.
• Experience with data observability tools like Monte Carlo or Elementary.
• Exposure to data mesh or federated ownership models.
• Background in high-growth or scaling analytics environments.
