What you will do
- Consult with Creative, Account, and Planning teams to develop medical content across digital and print media.
- Identify new medical advances and apply disease-state knowledge to support promotional efforts.
- Analyze clinical data, conduct literature searches, participate in medical conferences, and perform competitive analyses.
- Collaborate on INTOUCH POVs and client recommendations, and ensure medical communications meet marketing objectives.
- Guide creation of promotional and KOL materials using clinical data to achieve strategic brand goals.
- Support medical/regulatory approval processes by preparing submissions and incorporating client and regulatory feedback.
Requirements
- M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. required, with 5+ years of experience in an agency or pharmaceutical industry supporting scientific communications, medical affairs, or medical education.
- Ability to lead and execute content development with data analysis across complex projects with minimal review.
- Strong understanding of clinical practice, including performing scientific literature searches and interpreting complex clinical data into compelling narratives.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including presentation ability and relationship-building with clients and teams.
- Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations and AMA style, plus digital best practices.
- Willingness to travel is required.
