What you will do

• Develop and iterate on editorial strategies and coverage plans for the Business section.
• Manage and mentor a team of 10+ reporters and editors across the US and UK.
• Coordinate cross-platform coverage for digital video platforms including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
• Partner with audience development to analyze KPIs and maximize the reach and impact of journalism.
• Oversee budgeting, freelance rosters, and the full production process from concept to execution.
• Represent the brand in public-facing roles, such as panels, speaking engagements, and social media.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an editor in a fast-paced, digital, news-driven environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in a management role.
• Demonstrated history of breaking news and extensive sourcing within the tech industry.
• Deep knowledge of Big Tech, artificial intelligence, and the future of work.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with designers, photo editors, and digital producers.
• Must be based in San Francisco or New York.
