Proto Engineer (Engineering): Building and testing complex prototype modules for semiconductor equipment with an accent on optics, mechatronics, and control systems integration. Location: Must be based in Wilton, CT, USA. This is an on-site position with a hybrid option for up to two days of remote work per week.

What you will do

• Maintain and operate D&E test rigs for new product qualification and issue resolution.
• Execute test plans and follow operational procedures to ensure system performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report module design issues to improve system reliability.
• Perform build-in/build-out and integration activities on complex prototype hardware.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional engineering teams.
• Train other engineers and technicians on test rig operations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• BS degree in a technical field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to work on a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm - 10:30pm).
• Strong background in integration, verification, and validation (V&V) processes.
• Experience with technical specification management and engineering solution development.
• Ability to work on-site in Wilton, CT.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
