What you will do

• Execute the migration of repositories, user permissions, issues, merge requests, and historical data from GitLab On-Premises to GitLab SaaS.
• Audit current infrastructure and fully codify it to ensure repeatable and documented deployments.
• Refactor and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines to align with GitLab SaaS best practices and cloud-native workflows.
• Re-architect access controls, secrets management, and user permissions to fit the SaaS model securely.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proven track record of migrating GitLab instances from self-hosted/on-prem environments to GitLab SaaS.
• Deep experience writing, debugging, and optimizing complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in codifying infrastructure using Terraform, OpenTofu, or CloudFormation.
• English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Location: Must be based in Chile/Santiago (Remote or Office).
