What you will do

• Prepare and maintain monthly general ledger account reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
• Manage fixed asset ledgers, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance processes.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, maintain contracts, and monitor compliance requirements.
• Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and rolling cash flow models.
• Participate in finance transformation projects such as ERP implementations and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Ability to work Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm EST schedule.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with sales tax compliance and state registration requirements.
• Familiarity with Accounting Seed, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or equipment distribution industry.
