TL;DR

Deal Desk Analyst (SaaS): Facilitating efficient quoting and contracting for complex Enterprise deals with an accent on cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Finance, and Legal. Focus on maximizing ARR, ensuring revenue recognition compliance, and streamlining the deal closure process.

Location: Hybrid (Sydney, Australia) - requires two days in the office each week

What you will do

  • Act as a liaison between sales ops, finance, product, and legal to facilitate timely and accurate deal closure.
  • Manage complex, nonstandard Enterprise deals and provide guidance on deal structures to maximize ARR.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure contractual language complies with revenue recognition and operational policies.
  • Manage quote and contract approval workflows for pricing, discounts, and special terms.
  • Perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities to ensure contract and order form accuracy.
  • Identify and support process improvement efforts to streamline current procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Deal Desk experience.
  • Proven success in the SaaS/B2B industry supporting large enterprise customers.
  • Expertise in navigating revenue recognition requirements for private or publicly held companies.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, and Ironclad or comparable CLM software.
  • Ability to work extended hours during month-end and quarter-end closing.
  • Must be based in Sydney, Australia for the hybrid work model.
