What you will do
- Provide technical and people leadership for the Systems & Performance team.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of core systems, contributing hands-on throughout development.
- Ensure the game meets performance, scalability, and stability targets for both client and dedicated server environments.
- Collaborate with Gameplay, Design, Engine, QA, and Production teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Translate technical direction into actionable plans and prioritize work, balancing features with technical debt.
- Mentor engineers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional programming experience in the games industry.
- Proven experience leading teams, driving complex technical initiatives, and mentoring engineers.
- Expert C++ programming and software design skills.
- Experience with current console and PC development.
- Strong skills in debugging, profiling, and performance analysis.
- Deep understanding of multi-threading, I/O, and memory management.
- Solid English skills and a transparent communication style.
