What you will do

• Act as the primary technical point of contact (SPOC) for the AWS field in EMEA to drive pipeline and consumption growth.
• Lead and grow the EMEA AWS SME community of Solutions Architects to scale technical delivery across the region.
• Execute large-scale partner enablement through training, workshops, and the maintenance of the AWS Field Engineering Playbook.
• Develop joint product contributions and reference architectures, including AWS Marketplace and Amazon Bedrock automation.
• Provide technical arbitration for strategic multicloud accounts to unblock deployments and increase ARR.
• Align with senior AWS executive leadership and represent Databricks at major industry events such as AWS Summits and Re:Invent.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience as a data professional within a modern cloud-based data stack.
• Deep technical expertise in AWS services including PrivateLink, VPC Lattice, IAM, CloudFormation, and Bedrock.
• At least 3 years of technical pre-sales experience within a consumption-based business model.
• Proficiency in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, and comfort with infrastructure-as-code.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end data architectures for Big Data, Data Warehousing, and AI on MPP-based platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with senior executives and deliver high-quality technical content, workshops, and webinars.
