What you will do

• Build and maintain mobile infrastructure, tooling, and shared frameworks to improve engineering efficiency and developer experience.
• Analyse and optimise application performance, including memory footprint, package size, startup time, and rendering.
• Design and develop reusable, scalable mobile components for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Partner with product engineering teams to establish best practices and drive technical standards.
• Drive architecture innovations to support world-class mobile app development at scale.
• Apply AI coding tools to accelerate infrastructure development and cross-translate solutions between platforms.

Requirements

• 6+ years of native iOS or Android development experience with a focus on infrastructure, platform, or architecture.
• Deep expertise in either iOS (Swift/Objective-C/C++) or Android (Kotlin/Java, Jetpack).
• Current right to work in Hong Kong without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Proven track record of optimising app performance in production environments at scale.
• Active use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to build leveraged workflows and codify agent skills.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, mobile SDK layers, and architectural principles.

Nice to have

• Experience in a dedicated mobile architecture or infrastructure team.
• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Professional experience in fintech, crypto, or other high-scale consumer app environments.
• Hands-on experience with toolchain engineering or automated testing frameworks.
