What you will do

• Act as the primary technical voice for Databricks across multiple large enterprise clients in the energy sector.
• Guide customers through a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their corporate strategy.
• Implement and execute technical strategies in accounts to drive wider and deeper adoption of ML and AI.
• Build and maintain a movement of technical champions within target accounts.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions to maximize account success.
• Provide structured mentorship and technical leadership to other team members.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Houston, TX
• Proven track record in pre-sales, helping large enterprises become data-driven.
• Experience managing very large global accounts with ARR exceeding $1M.
• Strong technical proficiency in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Ability to establish relationships with executives and present convincing points-of-view to decision-makers.
