What you will do

• Own the architecture and roadmap for mobile development tooling, including simulator/emulator setup and CLI tools.
• Design and evolve the mobile test automation framework for synthetic and integration testing across platforms.
• Set the CI/CD quality gating strategy to proactively surface and prevent production issues.
• Drive alignment between Native Infra, Cross Platform, and DevX teams to create a cohesive mobile workflow system.
• Define and publish company-wide mobile testing best practices and methodologies.
• Mentor mobile engineers and contribute to the assessment of top talent.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) and working knowledge of the other.
• Hands-on experience with React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks at scale.
• Proven track record of building mobile test automation frameworks (synthetic, integration, or E2E).
• Experience defining CI/CD quality gating strategies and mobile build systems.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-team technical projects and drive alignment without direct authority.
• Strong technical documentation skills for creating company-wide standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with Device Farms such as BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab.
• Familiarity with Bazel-based monorepo CI/CD environments at scale.
• Experience migrating platforms from WebView to native or web-first to cross-platform.
• Background in internal advocacy or technical communication across engineering organizations.
