TL;DR

Territory Manager (Agriculture): Recruiting and leading a professional sales force to provide agronomic solutions to customers with an accent on seller recruitment and direct account management. Focus on coaching sales representatives, optimizing territory coverage, and resolving technical customer complaints.

Location: Illinois, United States (White, Gallatin, and Saline counties). VISA Sponsorship and International relocation are NOT offered.

Salary: $90,000 – $140,000

What you will do

  • Recruit, select, and retain a high-quality professional sales force to meet customer needs.
  • Manage direct selling for large accounts and coordinate team selling with local representatives.
  • Provide agronomic support and technical advice to growers and prospects.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team to enhance selling activity and relationship building.
  • Establish sales targets and tactical plans for each sales representative in the territory.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical customer complaints regarding products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing (or equivalent field sales experience).
  • Proven ability to sell, negotiate, influence, and coach others.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a rural environment.
  • Ability to pass a driving record background check.
  • No VISA sponsorship or international relocation provided.

  • Deep knowledge of agronomy and crop production practices.
