TL;DR

External SEC Reporting Analyst (Finance): Preparing external financial statements and SEC filings in compliance with U.S. GAAP with an accent on integrating accounting conclusions into compliant external disclosures. Focus on drafting quarterly and annual filings, implementing new disclosure requirements, and managing XBRL tagging.

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

What you will do

  • Prepare external financial statements and footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Research, draft, and refine disclosures for quarterly and annual filings while monitoring evolving expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Manage reporting processes using Workiva, including XBRL tagging.
  • Maintain SOX controls related to external reporting and support month-end/quarter-end close activities.
  • Support ESG reporting deliverables in coordination with the Sustainability team.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or relevant external reporting roles.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to support critical deadlines outside of standard business hours.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Workiva financial reporting.
