What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of regional system capabilities across the hirify.global platform.
• Translate multi-country business and regulatory requirements into scalable system architecture.
• Design backend systems supporting multi-region workflows, configurations, and integrations.
• Define system design for localization, policy variations, and insurer integrations.
• Review architecture and implementation to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, operations, QA, and DevOps to deliver cross-regional initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience building production-grade backend or distributed systems.
• Proven track record of leading technical delivery for platform or multi-system initiatives.
• Ability to design scalable architectures for multi-region or multi-tenant systems.
• Deep understanding of backend systems, APIs, and distributed system principles.
• Must be based in China.
• High ownership mindset and strong communication skills for stakeholder alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, fintech, or banking.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Knowledge of localization and configuration-driven architectures.
