What you will do

• Act as SME for System, Software, and AEH Design Assurance processes for internal development and suppliers.
• Review and approve Software/AEH life-cycle data to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Execute System Design Assurance Reviews according to ARP4754A/ARP4761 and support Certification Authorities.
• Perform Supplier Oversight and Design Assurance reviews for compliance with DO-178C and DO-254.
• Interface with FAA DERs and Certification Authorities to coordinate and execute compliance reviews.
• Maintain and track issues found during design assurance activities until full resolution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in System and Software/AEH Design Assurance for aerospace standards.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in safety critical systems standards: ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-254, and DO-178C.
• Experience with agile/lean methodologies and various software/AEH tools.
• Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tool Qualification (DO-330) or Model Based Development and Verification (DO-331).
• Knowledge of DO-326, DO-356, and DO-355.
• Previous experience working for an aircraft OEM.
• Experience with FAA Certification Compliance Reviews.
• Familiarity with Polarion, Git/Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira, and Teamcenter.
