What you will do

  • Lead, develop, own, refine, and implement a partnerships strategy aligned with the business vision.
  • Manage strategically important partnership opportunities (existing and new) and own executive-level relationships.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to keep Airwallex a “partner-of-choice” and provide recommendations to executive management.
  • Execute partnership initiatives aligned with regional commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate due diligence with prospective partners and project-manage internal stakeholders across commercial, product, and systems assessment.
  • Act as an industry expert and build relationships with potential partners and key decision-makers across the region.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a partnership role and minimum 7 years of relevant experience overall.
  • Strong negotiation skills for complex commercial discussions and sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders, including setting and managing project expectations.
  • Experience working with partners, experts, and executives, primarily in business development/partnerships roles.
  • Based in either Amsterdam or London.
  • Payments industry experience is preferred.
