Location: Must be based in Manchester (New Bailey) with a 3/2 hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Monitor, analyze, and investigate real-time security activity to identify malicious or anomalous behavior.
• Respond to immediate security threats across commercial customer networks within a 24/7 SOC environment.
• Collaborate with incident response teams and stakeholders to ensure swift resolution of security issues.
• Utilize advanced security technologies and defined processes to maintain operational integrity.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all security incidents handled.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester (New Bailey).
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and methodologies (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
