Reliability Engineer Sr

TL;DR

Reliability Engineer Sr: Perform reliability tasking for guided rockets and launchers, including statistical analysis for hardware testing/sampling and reliability analyses, studies, and evaluations to meet contractual reliability requirements, with an accent on reliability predictions, failure reporting and analysis, and meeting Secret clearance requirements. Focus on independent completion of reliability assignments and applying reliability principles to support development and production hardware.

What you will do

• Complete reliability work assignments independently using technical reliability principles, theories, and concepts.
• Conduct statistical analysis for hardware testing and/or sampling.
• Perform reliability analyses, studies, and evaluations of production and/or developmental hardware to meet contractual reliability requirements.
• Support failure reporting and analysis activities.
• Use reliability prediction methods and processes (including FMECA) as part of reliability engineering deliverables.
• Travel as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of working experience in reliability engineering (or a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or a related Master’s with 3 years).
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required for consideration.
• Experience with reliability analyses and reliability predictions.
• Ability to perform failure reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with documentation control processes (Corrective Action, Configuration Control, Failure Review Boards).

Nice to have

• Experience with FRACAS and statistical data mining.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
