What you will do

• Own and lead the execution of cost estimating and modeling processes within Vehicle Development.
• Develop and maintain the Vehicle Development cost database to enable effective cost estimation throughout all phases.
• Create detailed should-cost models and cost estimates for vehicle components and systems.
• Act as the SME in value engineering to identify cost reduction strategies and value capture opportunities.
• Collaborate with design teams across drivetrain, body, EE, thermal, and chassis to optimize component costs.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Engineering, Business Operations, Finance, or Supply Chain.
• Automotive OEM experience with deep knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and specialized cost analysis tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Foster City, CA.
