What you will do

• Lead the evolution of the analytics platform, defining how data is transformed into actionable information for millions of users.
• Design and build high-performance analytical pipelines using ClickHouse and streaming ingestion with Kafka.
• Architect custom semantic models and cubes from scratch, defining measures, dimensions, and pre-aggregations.
• Integrate LLMs into analytics workflows, including text-to-SQL, natural-language querying, and conversational BI.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG over structured data to ensure accurate results.
• Lead architectural decisions regarding analytical modeling, data governance, observability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with ClickHouse query optimization and MergeTree engines.
• Deep understanding of OLAP fundamentals, including dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas.
• Proven experience building or defining semantic layers or cubes (e.g., Cube.js).
• Experience integrating LLMs into structured data analytics using RAG or text-to-SQL.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for building tools, APIs, and data layer integrations.
• Location: Must be based in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, or A Coruña).

Nice to have

• Experience working with Ruby on Rails backends.
• Familiarity with Vector Databases and embedding-based retrieval systems.
• Experience with Cloud environments (AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with dbt, LookML, Metabase, Superset, or Tableau.
