What you will do

• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of at least $50M in state and local government opportunities.
• Develop win strategies and lead opportunity shaping efforts for high-value contracts.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with key Florida state agencies and local government entities.
• Collaborate with delivery leads, marketing, and subject matter experts to pursue cross-functional business.
• Negotiate teaming agreements with local partners and prime contractors.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and pursuit documentation.

Requirements

• Must be located in Tallahassee, Florida
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of business development or capture experience in the public sector.
• 3+ years of experience using structured capture processes like Shipley, APMP, or MEDPICC.
• Proven experience engaging with Florida state agencies or local government entities.
• Ability to travel moderately to client sites, conferences, and hirify.global offices.

Nice to have

• Background in climate adaptation, disaster recovery, or environmental consulting.
• Track record of winning pursuits of $10M+ in total contract value.
• Master’s degree or professional certifications such as APMP or CPCM.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or Dynamics.
