Location: Marietta, Georgia area (telecommuter remote work location to be reasonable driving distance to LM assigned suppliers)

What you will do
- Achieve total quality performance across multiple sites for strategic suppliers supporting Aero production.
- Lead suppliers in developing and executing plans that ensure long-term flow of defect-free products.
- Apply and validate corrective actions using root cause analysis, cause mapping, cause-and-effect diagrams, pick charts, and structured RCCA.
- Collaborate with supplier site leadership and Aero functional organizations to resolve technical and contractual issues.
- Ensure supplier performance stays aligned with quality goals while sustaining production delivery requirements.
- Support AS9102 First Article Inspection planning and execution based on requirements.
Requirements
- US Citizen (position requires government security clearance; clearance level: Secret).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Working knowledge of GD&T, inspection methods, tooling, AS9100, and AS9102.
- Experience with root cause and corrective action (RCCA) and effective corrective action validation.
- Experience implementing supplier improvement activities.
- Experience developing and maintaining effective customer relationships in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Green Belt or Black Belt; CQE certification.
- Six Sigma and preventive tools such as PDCA, PFMEA, mistake proofing, and gap analysis.
- Major assembly or F-35 program experience, including understanding F-35 engineering data packages.
- Experience with manufacturing/inspection techniques for metallic machined/formed parts, composite laminate/bonded assemblies, air vehicle & mission systems (electronics), or hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Experience interacting with government customers (JPO, DCMA, DoD).
