What you will do

• Achieve level design goals for exciting AAA console franchises.
• Create clear and concise level design documentation and pitch improvements.
• Plan and implement metric-conforming level blockouts in-engine.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure features and assets are successfully integrated.
• Maintain and balance the flow and readability of levels.
• Communicate with teams to align, playtest, iterate, and improve levels based on feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a level designer.
• Experience working on at least one AAA 3rd-person action-adventure game.
• Strong proficiency in UE5 or equivalent proprietary game engines.
• Expertise in 3D level blockout and prototyping skills.
• Knowledge of support tools such as Miro, Jira, and Confluence.
• Location: Must be based in Brighton, UK

Nice to have

• Experience with melee and ranged combat in 3rd-person action-adventure titles.
• Experience with cinematic set-pieces.
• Experience with the Frostbite engine.
