What you will do

• Serve as the primary authority on accounting policies, technical accounting matters, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate complex transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatments, preparing technical memoranda and position papers.
• Lead purchase accounting activities, coordinate valuation specialists, and guide the integration of acquired businesses.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and oversee internal tax governance, planning, and audit support.
• Oversee liquidity management, cash governance, banking relationships, and debt covenant compliance.
• Drive the annual audit process and lead technical discussions with external auditors.

Requirements

• CPA designation is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role within a public or late-stage PE-backed private company.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 805.
• Experience in the SaaS or subscription business model.
• Proven track record of supporting acquisitions and business integrations.
• Mix of Big-4 (or equivalent global audit firm) and corporate accounting experience is strongly preferred.
