Product Owner (Life Sciences): Leading the strategy and execution of data and AI-driven commercial analytics products for pharma organizations with an accent on AWS, PySpark, and IQVIA datasets. Focus on building scalable analytics solutions, driving sales force effectiveness, and leveraging GenAI to deliver actionable commercial insights.

Location: Must be based in Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite: Tue, Wed, Thu mandatory)

What you will do

• Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for commercial analytics solutions.
• Develop scalable data and AI-driven products tailored for pharma commercial functions.
• Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and data/engineering teams.
• Work extensively with IQVIA datasets and define data solutions using AWS infrastructure.
• Oversee the development of actionable dashboards and insights using Tableau.
• Own backlog prioritization and sprint planning within an Agile framework.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in life sciences or pharma commercial analytics.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Strong technical expertise in AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift) and PySpark.
• Deep experience with IQVIA commercial datasets (Xponent, DDD, LAAD).
• Proficiency in Tableau or equivalent BI visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of Sales Force Effectiveness, Territory Alignment, and Segmentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in GenAI and AI-driven analytics use cases.
• Knowledge of Next Best Action (NBA) and omnichannel analytics.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Exposure to modular data product architectures.
