TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js): Designing and maintaining the backend and frontend systems for Bolt Food's discount and promotion engine with an accent on scalable API design and reliable promotional systems. Location: Hybrid in Tallinn, Estonia (minimum 12 office days per month)

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain the backend and frontend systems powering Bolt Food's discount and promotion engine.
- Develop primarily in TypeScript and Node.js, with some React on the frontend.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable solutions.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and architecture discussions.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across Bolt to deliver high-impact initiatives with clear timelines.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience and a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Solid experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and at least one object-oriented language (C++, Java, etc.).
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience designing and developing APIs and proficiency with modern frontend frameworks.
- Ability to independently own projects from concept to delivery in a product-focused environment.
- English: Excellent communication skills required
