What you will do

• Lead thermal system and controls strategy for autonomous robotaxi platforms.
• Design technical specifications and System FMEAs for cabin and component thermal management.
• Develop integration test plans to ensure safety, efficiency, and optimal thermal performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to define requirements and interfaces.
• Manage issue triage including log reviews, code analysis, and hardware investigations.
• Participate in technical reviews for supplier evaluation and verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in thermal engineering, preferably in automotive or EV sectors.
• Strong foundation in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency in automotive electrical architectures and communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Deep knowledge of model-based system design and requirements management tools like IBM DOORS or Siemens Polarion.
• Understanding of automotive diagnostics (UDS) and Functional Safety Standard (ISO 26262).

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time embedded software architecture (AUTOSAR).
• Experience with advanced embedded software architecture (Linux).
• Advanced knowledge of ISO 26262 implementation.
