Salary: $217,000–$255,000 USD (Zone 1)

What you will do

• Plan and execute red team exercises and long-term security assessments simulating real-world attacks.
• Perform threat modeling and penetration testing across applications, infrastructure, and corporate environments.
• Develop custom scripts and tools to automate security testing and improve detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with detection and response teams to conduct adversarial simulations and incident readiness drills.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to members of the Offensive Security team.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and lead security incidents when critical vulnerabilities are identified.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in red team operations or advanced penetration testing.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Mitre ATT&CK Framework and security fundamentals of access and identity.
• Experience with modern software stacks including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and GCP.
• Knowledge of defensive tools (IDS/IPS, EDR) and adversarial evasion techniques.
• Must be able to work from the Bellevue, WA office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Financial Technology (Fintech) domain.
• Previous experience as a technical lead in a security organization.
