What you will do

• Manage and mentor two software engineering teams focused on security platform and development.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for security tooling, balancing security requirements with developer experience.
• Drive the adoption of security systems across internal engineering teams.
• Oversee development methodologies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Partner with SRE, DevOps, and compliance teams to integrate security into developer workflows.
• Contribute to complex software architecture and design documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in directly managing high-performing software engineering teams.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to contribute to complex architecture.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with SRE, DevOps, and compliance teams.
• Proficiency in languages such as Golang, Java, or Rust.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based services.

Nice to have

• Experience in security domains like application sandboxing, encryption, or vulnerability scanning.
• Understanding of the security products industry and risk evaluation.
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform, Helm, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and integration pipelines.
