TL;DR

Educational Sales Consultant (EdTech): Driving revenue and adoption of K-12 learning programs through consultative partnerships with school district leaders with an accent on territory planning and relationship management. Focus on delivering product presentations, forecasting sales results, and navigating complex curriculum adoption cycles within the Central Valley region.

Location: Must reside in California’s Central Valley region. Role requires >80% travel.

Salary: $69,250–$118,250

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales territory plan to meet revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with high-level school district administrators.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations both virtually and in-person.
  • Plan and execute regional events and conference sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, service, and product development.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipelines within the CRM.

Requirements

  • Must reside in California’s Central Valley region.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in education or educational sales.
  • Proven experience in a SaaS-based sales environment.
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape and curriculum adoption processes.
  • Ability to travel >80% of the time, including overnight stays.

Nice to have

  • Established relationships with district leaders within the assigned territory.
  • Previous experience in assessment and curriculum adoptions.
