Commercial FinOps Lead (Cloud/SaaS): Owning the commercial and vendor-management function for cloud and SaaS providers with an accent on negotiation, procurement governance, and spend visibility. Focus on building the commercials function from the ground up, implementing the VIA operating model, and developing cost reporting dashboards.

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end cloud and SaaS vendor relationships (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, etc.), leading renewals and negotiations.
  • Enforce procurement governance and competitive-bid processes for incoming requests.
  • Drive commercial VIA (Visibility, Insights, Actions) to optimize unit economics and realize cost savings.
  • Build hands-on cost dashboards and reporting using SQL and BI tools to close visibility gaps.
  • Coordinate the cloud efficiency program in partnership with Engineering to track optimization initiatives.
  • Define the operating model, source of truth for vendor spend, and overall governance standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in vendor/commercial management, procurement, FinOps, or technical/financial analysis at a senior level.
  • Proven track record of owning vendor relationships and treating contract negotiations as a lever for unit economics.
  • Experience running procurement governance, such as benchmark analysis and approval thresholds.
  • Proficiency in building cost dashboards hands-on using SQL and BI tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in async or globally distributed teams.
