TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Buenos Aires, Argentina (requires 2 days per week onsite)

What you will do

• Create level layouts, hotspots, and points of interest (POIs) aligned with game themes and lore.
• Prototype environments and establish layouts to evoke specific player emotions.
• Integrate gameplay elements, AI, and sound into the map as the project progresses.
• Develop comprehensive design documentation for level progression and 3D block-outs.
• Produce playtest requirements and data to assist QA in level validation.
• Iterate on environments based on playtest feedback and changing project directions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in level design for PC/console with at least one shipped title.
• Portfolio showcasing first-person levels, combat spaces, and clear player flow.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine tools, from blockout to final, including metrics and simple scripting.
• Ability to design non-linear spaces that support core mechanics and AI behavior.
• Skill in embedding narrative and worldbuilding through layout and composition.
• Must be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Nice to have

• Experience with co-op or systemic/sandbox gameplay spaces.
• Visual scripting proficiency with hands-on experience in Unreal Engine Blueprints.
