We are a leading bond and REPO trading desk, managing a significant bond and securities financing portfolio. Desk is running sophisticated cross-markets trading strategies.
We are looking for a sharp, disciplined, and mathematically rigorous intern trader to join our senior trader. You will work side-by-side on live positions, pricing, and strategy — this is real trading from day one. What will you do: – Assist in daily refinancing positions;
– Support market-making operations: quoting, hedging, and spread management;
– P&L, positions, and risk limits with precision. EOD closing operations and flash production;
– Conduct analysis of price dynamics, spreads, and execution quality;
– Monitor regulatory developments and exchange mechanics
– Contribute to strategy research and improvement of flow business processes.

Requirements

– Degree in mathematics, physics, or economics from a top Russian university (MSU, MIPT, HSE, St. Petersburg State, NES, or equivalent);
– Strong knowledge of financial products;
– High attention to detail — zero tolerance for errors in numbers, positions, or records;
– Genuine passion for financial markets — you follow prices, read market structure, think in risk/reward;
– Ability to stay calm and act quickly under pressure
– Proficiency in Excel; SQL; Python;
– Comfort working with multiple data feeds, platforms, and tools simultaneously;
– English language fluency. What sets the ideal candidate apart:
– Prior internship or exposure to trading, prop firms, or quantitative research;
– Understanding of banking system infrastructure, NSD and NCC settlement;
– Genuine intellectual curiosity — someone who reads about markets for fun.
