What you will do

• Develop bare-metal firmware for DDR5 PHY using microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with hardware designers and memory subsystem architects to implement training algorithms.
• Work with the verification team to define firmware-hardware co-verification plans.
• Develop and debug firmware within RTL-based hardware simulations using C and Verilog.
• Perform silicon bring-up and debugging on hardware boards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, USA
• Strong knowledge of DDR5 JEDEC specifications and DIMM configurations.
• Experience developing bare-metal firmware for high-speed SerDes or memory interface physical layer blocks.
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
• Experience debugging RTL simulations involving firmware and microcontroller subsystems.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Perl, Python, or TCL.
• Experience with verification EDA tools, simulators, and waveform viewers.
