What you will do

• Lead high-impact data science initiatives across product and fair play domains.
• Develop novel algorithms and models to protect game integrity and enhance user engagement.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate data into next-generation features.
• Manage and mentor a lean team of data scientists to drive results and professional growth.
• Design and deploy creative heuristics and statistical models to identify cheating at scale.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data science experience with a track record of shipping value-driving features.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience building data pipelines using BigQuery and GCP or similar cloud-scale storage.
• Solid machine learning fundamentals, specifically in anomaly detection.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing or mentoring other data scientists or analysts.

Nice to have

• Deep familiarity with chess, including rating systems and anti-cheating challenges.
• Experience on a consumer gaming or entertainment platform.
• Comfort working in high-ownership, lean team environments.
