The Exploration Company is developing Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and potentially human transport.

What you will do

• Define engine regulation strategies in close collaboration with functional engineers.
• Design engine controllers and interfaces for various regulation components and sensors.
• Define the maturation logic of the engine controller in coordination with the System Team Lead.
• Lead demonstrator hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test campaigns to validate performance.
• Produce high-quality technical specifications, justification files, and test procedures.
• Contribute to the definition of specifications for engine subsystems.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in controller development activities.
• Strong fundamentals in control theory and safety-critical design practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Matlab.
• Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of space standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, NASA-HBK) and regulations.
• Experience in electronic hardware design.
• Hands-on experience developing hardware from concept to working prototypes.
