What you will do

• Lead the development of complex product features, experiments, and technical initiatives.
• Shape architectural decisions and drive improvements in software design and engineering practices.
• Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Strengthen agile and scrum methodologies across the organization.
• Collaborate with backend, client-side, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Identify and execute opportunities to enhance product performance and development processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building performance-critical applications in production using JVM tech stack (Java, Scala, or Kotlin).
• Proven experience leading projects, technical initiatives, or engineering teams with full system ownership.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms like SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to improve team productivity through KPI-driven engineering practices.
