What you will do
- Lead the development of complex product features, experiments, and technical initiatives.
- Shape architectural decisions and drive improvements in software design and engineering practices.
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Strengthen agile and scrum methodologies across the organization.
- Collaborate with backend, client-side, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
- Identify and execute opportunities to enhance product performance and development processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building performance-critical applications in production using JVM tech stack (Java, Scala, or Kotlin).
- Proven experience leading projects, technical initiatives, or engineering teams with full system ownership.
- Hands-on experience with data platforms like SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to improve team productivity through KPI-driven engineering practices.
