What you will do

• Lead the design and controls development of a full active suspension system for an autonomous vehicle platform.
• Author system technical specifications, requirements, and interface control documents.
• Develop and execute system design, integration, and validation test plans, including HIL testing and virtual verification.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and controls teams to ensure seamless subsystem integration.
• Develop System FMEAs, diagnostic strategies, and fault reactions to ensure safe and robust operation.
• Lead root cause analysis and issue resolution using data analysis, log reviews, and hardware investigations.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in vehicle dynamics, structural mechanics, and control theory applied to suspension design.
• Experience with suspension system modeling and simulation tools such as ADAMS, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Proficiency in automotive systems development using model-based design processes.
• Experience with requirement tools like IBM DOORS or Siemens Polarion.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical architectures (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and diagnostics (UDS).
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and System FMEA development.

Nice to have

• Experience in Model Based System Design process.
• Knowledge of real-time embedded software architecture (e.g., AUTOSAR).
• Experience with advanced embedded software architecture (e.g., LINUX).
• Experience with objective and subjective suspension evaluation criteria.
