What you will do

• Build and optimize a disciplined recruiting system, including sourcing, interview loops, and closing playbooks.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies to reach exceptional technical, scientific, and operational talent.
• Design and run evidence-based interview processes using scorecards and calibrated debriefs.
• Manage the end-to-end candidate experience from first contact to signed offer.
• Steward hiring quality and protect the company culture against pressure for speed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading talent acquisition in a high-growth company.
• Proven track record of building recruiting functions, processes, and standards.
• Experience hiring for engineering, hardware, science, and senior leadership roles.
• Deep fluency in structured hiring, including scorecards and signal-owned loops.
• Strong sourcing and closing instincts for passive candidates.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in El Segundo, CA

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting for aerospace, robotics, or aviation.
• Background in early-stage or founder-led environments.
• Knowledge of recruiting analytics, ATS, and quality-of-hire measurement.
• Experience with workforce planning and compensation strategy.
