What you will do

• Review engineering drawings and provide critical feedback on manufacturability.
• Program toolpaths using a CAM platform and set up/run 5-axis jobs.
• Maintain a comprehensive tool and workholding library for both prototypes and short-run production.
• Manage the maintenance and calibration of machine tools.
• Program and operate CMM inspection, providing detailed results to engineers.
• Manage other CNC operators and machinists.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in 5-axis programming and operating.
• Intimate knowledge of G-Code, with the ability to hand-write and edit programs on the fly.
• Proficiency in CMM programming using Mitutoyo suite or Polyworks.
• Competency in parametric CAD software, specifically Solidworks or Fusion.
• Must be based in El Segundo, CA for full-time on-site work.

Nice to have

• CNC lathe programming with live tooling.
• Swiss machining experience.
• Broad experience in metrology and EDM.
